Are you a forward thinking practice nurse, well versed in the national agenda for practice nursing and looking for an exciting new role? An opportunity has arisen with the Community Division of Mersey Care Foundation Trust for a Team Leader for our Practice Nurse Development Team. This unique team, the only one in the country, consists of experienced Practice Nurses who provide mentorship and support, including acting as cytology mentors, to develop Practice Nurses in GP surgeries across Liverpool.The expectation will be to focus on the strategic development and operational management of the service and lead and manage a team of highly skilled and knowledgably clinicians through change, service development and the development of clinical leadership. You will work closely with teams across the community division, services within other divisions and with external partners to deliver specialist care, training and develop new ways of working.It is an essential requirement that you have specialist knowledge and experience in practice nursing with a proven track record of clinical excellence and leadership. Evidence of this experience will be required and will need to be demonstrated throughout the recruitment process.
