An exciting opportunity has arisen within the St Helens and Knowsley Learning Disability Community Team for an Advanced Nurse Practitioner to be a key senior member of the Intensive Support Team.The successful applicant will be working alongside the established Community Learning Disability Team to develop, initiate, lead and manage clinical assessment, formulation and interventions, staff training and special projects consistent with the aims of the Trust, service plan and service operational policy.
THIS IS AN INTERNAL SECONDMENT OPPORTUNITY OPEN ONLY TO EMPLOYEES OF MERSEY CARE NHS FOUNDATION TRUST.
APPLICANTS MUST HAVE THEIR CURRENT LINE MANAGER’S APPROVAL TO APPLY FOR THIS INTERNAL SECONDMENT PRIOR TO APPLYING.
This post is subject to an enhanced check with adults barred list Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check. Successful candidates will be required to pay for the cost of the DBS Disclosure which is £44.00, the cost of which will be deducted from first salary.
The post holder will be a key senior member of the Enhanced Intensive Support Team (IST), working alongside the established Community Learning Disabilities Team, working alongside clinical team managers and associated specialists to develop, initiate, lead and manage clinical assessment, staff training and special projects consistent with the aims of the Trust, service plan and service operational policy.
The post holder will demonstrate an attitude which respects and values service users’ and their carers.
