An opportunity has arisen to join the Community Specialist Palliative Care Team for 3 days per week, on a secondment/fixed term basis for a period of 12 months to cover maternity leave.

The team provides a 7 day service to the boroughs of St Helens and Knowsley.

This post is subject to an enhanced check with adults barred list Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) Check. Successful candidates will be required to pay for the cost of the DBS Disclosure which is £44.00, the cost of which will be deducted from first salary.

The post holder will be expected to undertake comprehensive holistic assessments of patients with a palliative diagnosis, using their clinical reasoning and developing knowledge to ensure the delivery of quality clinical outcomes.
