The job itself
Kirk Ella St Andrews Community Primary School is looking to appoint a General Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and hardworking team. The role will include working in Year 6, supporting in each aspect of the curriculum, preparing resources and assisting teachers in the day to day management of the classroom.

We require someone who:
Can communicate well to younger children
Has a firm grasp of the Key Stage 2 curriculum
Has experience of caring for children with additional needs
Establishes positive, supportive and clear relationships with children and staff
Commits to children’s learning, improving their own learning and that of others
Shows enthusiasm, is proactive, self-motivated and able to use initiative
Commits to teamwork and has excellent interpersonal skills
Is organised, efficient and professional
Is caring, understanding and patient
