Arco are looking to recruit a Planner, who is responsible for our Stock availability for a range of products procured from our suppliers.
This is an exciting opportunity for someone to own the vendor relationship for the supply of a specific product set, they will manage Vendor’s performance and drive improvement initiatives with their vendors.
Our office is based in Hull, we are able to offer flexible working with a mixture of home and office days. This role is a full-time position working 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities
To manage the supply plan in SAP APO for a key set of vendors
Co-ordinate the resolution to demand/supply imbalances with supply chain, category management, sales and operations
To manage suppliers to optimise their manufacturing and capacity plans and ensure delivery targets are met
Optimise inventory to achieve budget targets, whilst maintaining customer service
Provide strategic view on supplier performance
To be successful in this role you will need to have;
Experience in Planning
Excellent knowledge of supply chain process and systems
Strong communication skills
Commercial Awareness
Proficient in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
