We have a great opportunity for a Embroidery & Print Production Operative looking to join our Clothing Centre.

We are recruiting for someone who is experience in embroidering on garments.

At our state-of-the art clothing centre (ACC), we can either embroider or heat seal corporate identity onto a wide range of garments. We supply some of the UK’s best known brands with corporate decorated clothing.

This role is working 37.5hrs a week, Monday to Thursday 2:00pm - 10:30pm and Friday 2:00pm – 8:00pm.

Key Responsibilities;

Operate heat seal machines and embroidery machines (both single and multi heads)
Work to high quality standards in line with customer requirements
Accuracy in terms of applying the correct logo, setting up and selecting appropriate threads, framing and position the logo in the required location on the garment.
Update work activity on systems ensuring accuracy in the information being confirmed.
Garment aftercare – ensure embroidery is trimmed / brushed and any commodity items removed and heat seal is fully applied and relevant packaging and tags remain with garment.

To be successful in this role;

Basic IT skills
Previous embroidery experience
An understanding of health and safety within the operation.
Product knowledge including fabric type understanding
Good level of literacy and numeracy
Strong need to achieve departmental goals and look for continuous improvement
