Supplier Accounts Assistant

As a Supplier Accounts Assistant, you will be supporting the Client Accounts and Tenancy & Property Management departments to ensure our portfolio of let and managed properties are handled effectively. With Excel knowledge and great communication skills, you will ensure all supplier accounts are up to date and looked after efficiently.

You will be responsible for all supplier accounts, responding to each query efficiently, with consistent care and meticulous attention to detail. No matter if its checking invoices, monitoring supplier performance, or working with the property management department to ensure all payments are made on time, you are the go-to.

Key Responsibilities

  • Respond to contractor enquiries via phone and email promptly to ensure all queries are resolved
  • Liaise with clients, tenants, and suppliers in aid of resolving invoice disputes that may occur
  • Post all invoices for payment to a strict deadline
  • Review and update supplier statement of accounts promptly and efficiently
  • Assist the Property & Tenancy Management team with any invoice queries
  • Organise and participate in quarterly supplier meetings to provide internal feedback
  • Review individual supplier performance on an ongoing basis and report any issues to the Suppliers Manager
  • Assisting the Supplier Manager with new supplier enquires and contribute to the vetting process
  • Assessing current processes and putting forth suggestions for enhancements.
  • Maintain accurate records and be vigilant that data-integrity is not compromised on the internal software system

Skills and experience:

  • Strong customer-service skills
  • Previous admin experience would be ideal
  • Good communication skills both verbal and written
  • Good organisation and time management skills
  • High level of numerical accuracy and attention to detail
  • Good Knowledge of Excel, Word
