Linden Lodge is a 25 bedded specialist Neurorehabilitation Unit caring for patients with complex rehabilitation needs within a Multiprofessional team setting. If you enjoy developing a therapeutic relationship with patients over time, and being part of some amazing transitions and recovery of patients within your care, this could be the place for you.

We are looking for dynamic, forward thinking, self motivated registered nurses who would like to be part of our expanding service and join our committed neurorehabilitation team in delivering high quality care. You should have excellent interpersonal & communication skills, and a passion for the delivery of high quality, compassionate care.

If you have Mental Health or Learning Disability qualifications and would like to turn your hand to adult nursing, your skills would be well used within the Unit.

Student nurses who are in their final year or management placements are also welcome to apply.

Individual personal development is actively supported with a supernumerary induction period and preceptorship support. A local and corporate induction programme is provided, as well as a teaching programme within your preceptorship period. There are also numerous opportunities for nurses with a keen interest in the development of link nurse roles and involvement in clinical benchmarking.

Main duties of the job

Assess the care needs of patients and develop a programme of care which is evaluated and amended as appropriate.

Carry out relevant forms of direct and indirect patient care without direct supervision.

Work as part of the interdisciplinary team to assess, evaluate and deliver care to patients..

Utilises and integrates evidence into practice.

Make sound clinical decisions based on the assessment of patients, including that of safe nurse lead discharges.

Salary: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.

  • Disclosure and Barring Service: Your post maybe subject to a DBS check which incur a cost dependent on the level of check required (£45 for enhanced and £28 for standard). I agree to reimburse Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust the cost of a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check if it is required (by deduction from first month’s pay).
