We are excited to be recruiting for a number of band 5 registered nurses to work within our current Medium Secure Unit, ( Kenneth Day Unit). Our MSU provides treatment for men aged 18 years and over who may suffer from with mental disorders, including mental illness (MI), personality disorder (PD) and neurodevelopmental disorders (NDD) including learning disabilities (LD) and autism (ASD). We can also provide treatment for men with challenging behaviours.The service has a holistic, therapeutic approach which encourages engagement and co-production. There is a robust MDT process in place enabling the pathway to be person centred, focussing on hope and recovery supporting patients to have a voice.We are looking for a motivated, hard-working and enthusiastic Registered Mental Health or Learning Disability Nurses with excellent values to support adults with complex needs in a secure care setting. You must have excellent communication skills, be reliable, punctual, leading the team with the ability to adapt/respond to changing situations.
