Sous Chef, Country Inn, Salary between £28,000 & £31,000 Tronc, Warminster. Chefshare is recruiting for a Sous Chef to join the team and head chef in our clients spectacular country inn located outside of Warminster. Our client has recently taken on this stunning and rustic country inn, they have created an exceptional interior with 12 rooms available for guests which may be expanded to 16 soon. Moreover, they can cater for up to 60 covers indoors with an additional 20 covers in the private function room along with a further 60 covers in the outside seating area. They fayre served onsite will be of a high standard, encompassing modern English and European cuisines with attention to detail on sourcing the highest quality locally sourced ingredients to produce the A la cart menu. They require a Sous chef to join the team immediately to assist the head chef in creating menus as well as managing the team in the kitchen and day to day general duties. The successful Sous chef will have a previous background in high end pubs or Rosette experience as they are open to gaining awards in the future and will require your experience and passion to push the business forward. As Sous chef your responsibilities will include assisting the head chef in procurement, menu creation, managing the kitchen brigade to maintain morale as well as high work efficiency. Moreover, you will be tasked with running the kitchen whilst the head chef is away as well as annual leave as well as this you will be assisting in the general day to day management of the kitchen making sure all ingredients are handled with the upmost care and attention. Delegation of tasks. Managing kitchen whilst Head chef is away. The ability to work to and maintain 5-star food hygiene standards. Staff training. Menu development and costing experience. Supervise a team of 4 chefs. Details Salary between £26,000 & £31,000 p.a. Dependent on experience. Share of tips. 45 hours - Full time.
