Assistant manager, Boutique hotel, Salary between £23,000 & £26,000 p.a. Live in, Ramsbury Chefshare is recruiting for Assistant Manager to join the front of house team in our clients stunning and award-winning boutique hotel. The hotel is located in Ramsbury and have recently been awarded with a Michelin plate as well as continuing to maintain their 2-rosette service. They have 9 boutique rooms available for guest as well as catering up to 50 covers in their restaurant along with providing a wonderful setting for functions. Furthermore, the cuisine served on site is of a 2-rosette standard and above with dishes centered on British and European cuisine. We expect the Assistant manager to have previous experience in a similar position with a wealth of experience that you can bring to the role along with a strong positive attitude. Moreover, as assistant manager you will be responsible for supervising all staff making sure systems are in place for the upmost efficiency in all areas of the business. Furthermore, you will assist senior management in all areas of the business whilst creating an enjoyable environment to work in. You will also be tasked with managing operations across all areas of the business to establish and maintain excellent standards within the restaurant whilst ensuring the delivery of a flawless service coupled with having a strong customer focused attitude. Some of the responsibilities as Assistant manager: Communicate company policies, procedures, and standards and to ensure that these are fully understood, always implemented, and adhered to. To assist the general manager with the recruitment and training of all front of house team members and their development plans Investigate and resolve any stock loss (wet or dry) to ensure cost targets are met. Ensure the consistent quality, rotation, and levels of stock by key personnel to ensure quality and reduce wastage. Assistant Manager duties: Assist the manager with team rotas and schedules. Ensure all team are treated fairly & respected as individuals. Supervise your team whilst motivating them to get the best form your work force. Ensure that all company assets, cash, stock, property, and goods are kept secure. Maintain and monitor the highest standards of Hygiene and Health & Safety in accordance with all governing guild lines. Hold and attend training and team meetings as required. To assist the general manager and owners in implementing new strategies and procedures within the business. To handle the day to day running of a busy restaurant and bar. To ensure all complaints are minimized and handled professionally. Key Requirements: Previous experience in similar role - Management / General Manager / Area manager. You are ambitious and would like to see yourself climbing the ladder within the company. Team player. Forward thinking. Immaculate personal presentation. A calm temperament in work and life. Strong work ethic as well as timekeeping. Comfortable in dealing with evolving situations. In return you will receive: A salary between £23,000 & £26,000 p.a. dependent upon experience Share of tips.
