The Reproductive Health Directorate is delighted to offer this fantastic opportunity as SGM for Sexual Health, Genetics and Fertility services.

This is a 12 month secondment role or fixed term role and is pivotal to the effective delivery of improving our Integrated Sexual Health, Clinical Genetics and Fertility services within the Family Health Division at NUH in working in partnership with the divisional and directorate leadership teams to support the delivery of the operational service.

Integrated Sexual Health services (ISHS) are co-located between City Campus and the Victoria Health Centre clinic in the city centre of Nottingham, with 20+ community sites throughout the south of Nottinghamshire. ISHS provides all levels of contraceptive and STI care and a variety of health promotion/outreach work. The service also provides inpatient and outpatient HIV services and a psychosexual medicine service

Clinical Genetics also has a number of community sites across a broad geographic area with the main site located at City Hospital. The service provides clinical and Laboratory genetic services across a wide population.

Fertility services are bases at the QMC site at NUH and provides quality investigations and treatments for NHS funded and self-funded patients.

Main duties of the job

Working with a vision of “delivering excellence in all we do” the post holder will work closely with the Head of Service(s) and Service Lead(s) and Senior Management Team to manage their service to achieve the best patient care.

Specifically the post holder will be responsible for providing operational business management and service planning to ensure that the Service(s)

achieves its performance objectives. The successful candidate will be supported to develop their leadership and managerial skills. You will role model values by example to deliver excellence in operational leadership. You will be enthusiastic and motivated and will enjoy working in a fast paced ever changing environment.

Salary: The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
