The Role

The Senior Tax Analyst supports the Global Tax team to achieve strategic objectives. In this role, you will serve as a key member of the tax team, assisting in all areas of income tax, including tax compliance, financial reporting (ASC 740), controversy support, and special projects, as needed.

What You’ll Do
  • Gathers and validates financial data to prepare the federal and state tax returns.
  • Prepares the federal book-to-tax calculation and provides it to the outside accounting firm that prepares the income tax returns.
  • Reviews returns prepared by the outside accounting firm to ensure accuracy and timely filing.
  • Prepares the quarterly and year-end income tax provision and related documentation.
  • Prepares uncertain tax position calculations and related documentation.
  • Assists with federal and state income tax audits.
  • Research various tax issues to provide support for tax positions taken.
  • Assists in reviewing tax packages from foreign subsidiaries.
  • Various ad hoc projects, as needed.
Required

What You’ll Bring
  • Minimum of two years of diverse corporate income tax experience at a national public accounting firm or five years of corporate income tax experience at a multi-national company.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required, Master’s degree in Taxation preferred.
  • CPA eligible; active CPA license preferred.
  • Experience preparing US federal and state income tax returns for multinational corporations.
  • Experience preparing or auditing income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740.
  • Strong problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced work environment with competing priorities.
  • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in complex situations with tight deadlines.
Preferred
  • Experience preparing income tax provisions for multinational corporations.
  • Experience auditing income tax provisions while working in public accounting.
  • Public Accounting experience, Big Four experience preferred.
  • Experience with preparation and review of US reporting for international activity on US Forms 5471, 8858, 1118, and 8865.
  • Experience using OneSource tax provision software and Microsoft Office products.
