The Role

We are looking for a Sr. Director of Product Management working closely with Solera North America stakeholders, to deliver added value solutions to Solera’s customers.

The ideal candidate for this Senior Director of Product Management for Insurance Solutions is one who has demonstrated success in senior product leadership with focus on the definition, execution and delivery of data-driven software and workflow solutions for the insurance claims industry. This position will be responsible for leading, mentoring and growing a group of product managers and product owners, operating in Agile methodologies, as they seek to expand and continuously improve on our effectiveness of execution and quality of delivery. The candidate must demonstrate capabilities in effective executive-level communications (both internal and external) with succinct, focused and impactful messaging that commands attention, action and output.

The role is North America focused with some travel expectation.

What You’ll Do
  • Perform Market analysis and customer research to define trends, pain points and opportunities for Solera and it’s insurance claims and collision repair solutions.
  • Create, refine and lead product management strategies and efforts for our growing portfolio including; product lifecycle priorities, strategically themed, EPIC-level Agile planning, execution leadership, market analysis and positioning, business and sales enablement and customer engagement/opportunity support.
  • Collaborate with global and cross-functional product teams to define, plan and execute on a cohesive strategy for product releases
  • Execute strong financial, profitability, ROI and customer value results – from business case to delivery, ensure that products are commercially successful and operationally effective.
  • Partner with Product Marketing to equip sales and internal teams with compelling marketing tools and strategies to support positioning of existing products and the introduction of new products or value-driven features.
  • Engage with the business on partnership and/or acquisition opportunities that will accelerate and bolster the market strategy by supplementing what we build internally with what was invented externally.
What You’ll Bring
  • Bachelors degree (MBA preferred) with a minimum of 10 years of Product Management experience including a minimum of 5 years of demonstrated success in leading a Product Management team responsible for large enterprise solutions ideally within the insurance claims industry.
  • Education and master application of Product Management fundamentals and principles, both on the strategic and tactical levels of execution
  • Self-starting mindset with strong executive presence and communications
