Senior Financial Accountant – Grimsby - £45,000 - £57,000 (dependent on experience)

Chase & Holland are working with this forward thinking, market leading manufacturing business based on the outskirts of Grimsby to recruitment a Senior Financial Accountant. Reporting into the Head of Financial Accounts for this international business, who will take responsibility for external financial reporting and internal group reporting. This role represents an exceptional career opportunity for the right person.

Responsibilities Will Include
  • Month end accounts preparation for the UK, including P&L and balance sheet analysis and cost of sales reporting
  • Analysing the financial statements monthly, reporting on any variances
  • Annual statutory accounts preparation under IFRS
  • Tax return and computation preparation
  • Accounting compliance for UK and International GAAP and internal controls compliance
  • Manage and be the main point of contact for the internal and external audit
  • Develop and mentor the team of PQ financial accountants
  • Assist with cashflow management and analysing funds repatriated
  • You will also ensure the integrity of financial information through analysis of the companies systems
  • Assist with ERP systems upgrades
The ideal candidate will be:
  • Qualified Accountant, either ACA or ACCA with an impeccable track record up to this point
  • Exceptional technical accounting skills of UK and/ or international GAAP, IFRS and understanding of statutory and group reporting
  • Experience of ERP systems and ideally consolidation software
  • Ability to lead change management projects
  • Self motivated and driven to make a difference
  • Ability to build relationships and work cross functionally
