Group External Reporting Manager – East Yorkshire – c£60,000, Car Allowance and Package

We have an exceptional opportunity for an ambitious Qualified Accountant who is looking to make their mark with a dynamic FTSE 250 business, based in the Group Head Office. You will be a key member of the Group Finance team playing a pivotal part in the financial reporting of a forward thinking business. As Group External Reporting Manager you will the delivery of the external reporting to the Stock Exchange, Investor community and other external stakeholders.

Key responsibilities of the Group External Reporting Manager will include:

  • Manage the accurate, timely delivery of the Group’s annual reporting pack and accounts, half year statement, quarterly reporting and investor presentations
  • Drive best practice in financial and sustainability reporting and controls
  • Be at the forefront of developments in accounting and reporting standards and articulate this at board level
  • Support the delivery of accurate management information to the board including quarterly revenue reporting
  • Review and collate broker reporting
  • Manage and mentor more junior colleagues
The ideal candidate will be:

  • ACA qualified with strong PQE experience in technical accounting
  • Ideal for a dynamic individual seeking a second or third move in industry from practice
  • Solid relevant experience in a FTSE 250, listed business
  • You will have strong communications skills and ability to work autonomously
  • Line management experience and passion for mentoring and developing your team
  • Driven, proactive and diligent individual
