We have a fantastic opportunity for an individual with a proven track record in delivery management to join our team as our Senior Delivery Manager. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the delivery of development projects on a global scale. This is an exciting time to join the team as we’re migrating from old legacy systems to a new platform. You will have scope to influence future developments and make a real difference.

What will you be doing?

  • Lead the understanding of the external product & technical proposals and changes on LFC digital estate
  • Lead the understanding of feature development & prepare technical proposals
  • Develop a clear understanding of requirements & capacity to plan for internal & external development
  • Manage multi workstreams across different dev teams, business stakeholders, products & in tooling systems to ensure standards
  • Influence the setting of development budgets on headcount & external forecast
  • Manage team & individuals to be high performing by using performance management
  • Create a single manageable view of workload for internal designers & developers utilizing software tooling
  • Lead priority management of product delivery across business stakeholders within the club
  • Manage club prioritisation conversations with external development partners with senior stakeholders
  • Manage & ensure clear visibility of all digital product work tasks across the business
  • Lead continuous improvement development by ensuring business based NFR’s (key digital application KPI’s) are hit to increase revenues & business performance
  • Oversee the completion of digital product change requests ensuring clear business cases for change are in place
  • Manage the execution of development budgets to ensure delivery on time, cost & to required ROI

Who are we looking for?

To be successful, you will have a strong delivery management background and be an expert in Lean Product Management. You’ll be a Delivery expert with demonstrable experience in Agile values, Lean and continuous delivery. You will have a strong understanding of DevOps behaviours and principles together with proven ability to implement continuous improvements across a range of teams.

You will have outstanding negotiation and communication skills together with strong people and stakeholder management skills. You will have excellent problem solving and organisation skills with the ability to plan and prioritise effectively. You will have a people centric approach with a passion for helping people and teams grow.

This is a full-time permanent role working 35 hours per week on a 5 from 7 day basis. Your main base will be our Head Office in Liverpool City Centre which is close to local bars, shops and restaurants and has great views over the river Mersey.
