We’re hiring for a Receptionist to work as front of house at our Distribution Centre. Working in this role you will meet and greet all guests and provide integral support through the coordination of facilities and general front out of house administration tasks.

What will I be doing?

On a day to day basis you will be:

  • Welcoming visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering calls, screening calls as required and then referring enquiries to the relevant teams. Ensuring security protocols and health and safety requirements are followed at all times.
  • Manning the reception desk, directing visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; liaising with visitors as required and keeping departments informed of visitor/front of house information/instructions.
  • Assisting internal departments, by acting as the point of contact for any general front of house and facilities/maintenance queries.
  • Processing mail via the computerised postal system and distributing internal and external mail and various courier/general deliveries around the LFCs facility.
  • Maintaining the electronic filing system, ensuring all relevant paperwork is securely and confidentially stored in the correct areas. Completing general housekeeping of the electronic filing system on a regular basis.
  • Performing administrative duties to support the wider team.
  • Logging facilities maintenance queries through the relevant process, coordinating the maintenance tasks and ensuring completion of these tasks, escalating as required.
