What To Expect

An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Commercial Launch Planner to join our Classic team on a 12-month FTC (Maternity Cover). As the Classic Launch Planner, you’ll play a pivotal role in the Classic Commercial organisation.

You’ll be responsible for the development and management of Classic launch plans and coordinating the go-to-market strategy for Classic derivatives. You will be working with Product Marketing, Pricing, Finance, Communications, Experience, PR, Sales, and Customer Service in order to exploit the full potential of the carlines for the business and the brand, leading to sustainable profitable growth.

You’ll be responsible for:
  • Working with the Commercial team to develop and execute launch plans
  • Managing Launch deliverables to enable effective and efficient delivery of launch activities & gateways
  • Representing Classic Commercial at all Programme and Strategy meetings and providing feedback to the wider Commercial team including monitoring of actions to progress deliverables/gateway support.
  • Building and maintaining strong working relationships with Special Vehicle Operations & Core launch/marketing teams to expand/exploit launch opportunities
  • Management of GDPR across Classic, holding weekly & monthly meetings, monitoring risks and activities
  • Supporting with global reviews and ad hoc requests relating to launch details

What You’ll Need

To be successful in this role you’ll be results-driven, demonstrating tenacity, drive, and perseverance with the ability to deliver operational plans in a complex, highly demanding environment. You’ll have the capability to combine a short-term, pragmatic focus with medium term planning.

You’ll also need:
  • An organised individual who operates with attention to detail
  • A good communicator with the ability to communicate well with colleagues
  • Have experience working in Commercial / Programme / Project Management
  • Have a passion for Jaguar or Land Rover products and be product literate
  • Have a high degree of competitor and market awareness
  • Be fully computer literate and skilled in the use of MS Excel, PowerPoint, and Sharepoint.
  • A solid understanding of the way in which the company works
  • Be educated to degree level or equivalent experience
