What To Expect

The Technical Analyst is accountable for supporting the Senior Manager Demand & Operations as part of the Digital Enterprise Foundations Team (DEFT). DEFT are addressing the strategic need to align, connect and share our key IT data to support our future as a digital business. The Technical Analyst will engage across IT and InDigital to analyse where improved data can improve operations. The role will design and deploy solutions to harness the value of data to improve IT’s efficiency and effectiveness. DEFT follow Agile principles and deliver using Scrum.

Key accountabilities and responsibilities to include:
  • Engage and understand the needs of stakeholders across IT documenting via EPICs and User Stories
  • Participate in SCRUM based delivery as a Sprint team member or Scrum Master
  • Use problem-solving techniques to arrive at root cause of operational performance issues
  • Develop data models and build relationships between data sets
  • Perform process re-engineering in order to ensure data is sustained through its lifecycle
  • Utilise tools such as Microsoft Power Apps / Power Automate and Tableau to build/test/deploy solutions to automate and visualise key operational data
  • Document Policy, Process and Standards and update existing as necessary
  • Capture and track value delivered through Sprints
  • Ensure successful adoption of change through engagement, communication and use of Management of Change techniques
What You’ll Need
  • Business Analysis experience in delivery of IT Solutions / Change
  • Process analysis and re-design
  • Data analysis/modelling skills over all types of data, focus on building relationships between data sets.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Great stakeholder management skills
  • Understanding/competency on O365 tools / Sharepoint
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills supported by advanced communication and presentation skills – used to translate IT related issues for operational teams
  • Customer focused – ability to determine IT Management requirements and performance measures, and initiate solutions
