Senior Business Analyst – EMEA Provisioning

Hansen Technologies – Teddington TW11 or Remote United Kingdon

Hansen are looking for an experienced Business Analyst with strong consulting skills, who is very client focused. This is a dynamic, hands-on position where you will play a vital role in driving, help shape and deliver the requirements for a major transformation programme which sees the implementation of Hansen’s Communications Create-Deliver-Engage (Hansen OM, Hansen CPQ and Hansen Provision) Cloud Native product suite.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Work closely with stakeholders to understand business problems and positively influence outcomes, whilst ensuring alignment with relevant enterprise-wide strategies.
  • Business and process analysis - Capture, analyse and document business process requirements
  • Elicit and validate the non-functional requirements, including performance, implementation design, usability, security & audit, and appropriate legislative requirements
  • Documenting ‘as-is’ and ‘to-be’ within accurate and detailed scoping documents
  • Project handover documentation: business definitions, configuration documents and process flows
  • Encourage Agile ways of working, coaching teams in best refinement practices, in both your own teams and in partnership with other teams
  • Communicate requirements to development teams using appropriate documentation (Lean Canvas, Epics, User stories)
  • Liaising with development team and clients – act as a point of communication
  • Consulting – covering all aspects; including presales and supporting the sales team, product demonstrations, analysis, implementation, system configuration and training of end users utilizing Hansen Provision and CDE suite of products.

Knowledge And Expertise Required
  • Strong experience in Telecommunications Process Frameworks (TMF eTOM) and IT Process Frameworks (ITIL)
  • Good understanding of OSS-BSS solutions and processes
  • Ability to create high quality functional documentation and strong requirements gathering skills
  • Ability to provide solid examples of practical experience in business analysis tools and techniques
  • Experience providing product software demonstrations to end users
  • Demonstrable experience of working as a Business Analyst on large or complex transformation programmes/ projects implementing BSS/OSS transformations using a scaled agile framework or similar
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a single or multi-vendor environment understanding boundaries and constraints
  • Strong Agile background – working in Scrum/Kanban/Scrumban teams
  • Have cross-functional experience working with other disciplines (namely UX, Tech/Architecture, QA and Design), possibly within an Agile environment, or using Agile practices.
  • Strong stakeholder management
