Digital Marketing Manager

Hansen Technologies is a global tech provider of billing, data management and customer care solutions servicing the Utilities, Pay TV and Telecommunications industries. A growing company with 31 offices around the globe delivering billing solutions to customers in more than 80 countries. We are looking for good people to take us forward. We are currently looking for a Digital Marketing Manager to be placed in either Canada (Toronto) or the UK.

The Role

To lead the digital marketing strategy globally for Hansen Technologies. Leveraging a range of digital tools to maximize awareness and lead generation in our chosen industries and geographies this role has the responsibility to maximize the process end to end. Effectively work across and lead a wide range of digital marketing initiatives including campaign management, SEM and PPC, SEO, lead nurture, social media, content management, website management and eDM delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Devise strategies to drive online traffic to the company website
  • Develop and execute digital marketing campaigns
  • Ongoing optimization of digital campaigns to accelerate volume of customer leads
  • Manage the website to maximize customer engagement
  • Map and analyse user journey across all digital platforms to inform new opportunities
  • Oversee the content strategy to drive more traffic to the website (creating new content for our website and social media channels including blogs, videos, display ads, virtual events, infographics etc) in collaboration with product marketing and broader demand generation team
  • Drive keyword analysis with an understanding of SEO techniques, driving optimization across a global market
  • Help develop and execute the social media strategy for the company in collaboration with corporate communications
  • Manage online brand to raise brand awareness
  • Improve the usability, design, content and conversion of the company website (optimizing website conversion and workflow)
  • Analyze and report on the success of the various online strategies, ensuring the reports present data in clear, engaging, easy-to-understand ways
  • Review new technologies and keep the company at the forefront of developments in digital marketing
  • Meet KPI’s as agreed with the Director of Demand Generation, Chief Marketing Officer, and global head of sales
Preferred Skills & Knowledge
  • Degree level educated with preference in Business and Communications and expert level understanding of digital marketing strategies and techniques.
  • 3+ years’ experience, preferably in a B2B and/or software environment
  • Experience in copywriting and content delivery
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
  • Experience utilizing and leveraging leading analytics, search, traffic, and other digital media tools
  • Familiarity with CMS, B2B social media platforms (inc LinkedIn,Twitter, Facebook, Hootsuite), Google Analytics & eDM tools (marketing automation – Marketo)
  • Willingness to learn & the dedication to gain a deep understanding of our products and targets
  • Experience with Adobe Creative products will be highly regarded
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • Self-motivated, a willingness to tackle new challenges, and an action-oriented approach
