Key Performance Indicators
  • Products delivered on time, to cost and user accepted to standards
  • Story point velocity (measure of efficiency)
  • No. bugs/issues reported on the products
Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities
  • Define and translate business problems/requirements into analytics requirements/solutions – in line with Product Manager relationship with business and taking on board their thinking
  • Develop, implement and enhance analytic insights and products using a wide range of analytics tools and some data engineering
  • Conceptualise, develop and manage the delivery and optimisation of analytics solutions; ensure solution meets business needs
  • Monitor statistical scoring, business intelligence, data quality and analytical product/solution development
  • Identify, analyse and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets and communicates conclusions to the business
  • Act as lead for development segment of larger or complex projects. During projects, takes primary accountability for day-to-day line management and capability development of developers on project team and ensures accuracy and robustness of analytics products
  • Undertake people management accountabilities for direct reports outside of their project, e.g. undertake annual performance review, gathering insight from relevant project teams, coordinate performance improvement plan where appropriate, etc.
  • Where graduates are included in DRs or project team, provide mentorship and ensure the structure of their workload reflects the graduate scheme requirements
What You’ll Need

Essential:
  • Previous experience in managing data systems or in data management field
  • Previous experience of projects within agile, scrum framework
  • Previous experience and knowledge of various data management tools (i.e. SDS etc.) & MS Excel / Access
  • Previous experience with modern data-oriented architectures, databases and information system technologies
  • Knowledge of data architecture principles, patterns and technologies
  • Knowledge of integrated data solution designs (e.g., ESB, CRM, and BI)
  • Excellent level of ability to structure, analyse/ interpret data
Desirable:
  • Some engineering knowledge to ensure meaningful initial problem definition
  • Extensive knowledge of a range of research techniques and methodologies
  • Experience of international projects in multiple markets
