We are now looking for a Senior Administrative Assistant for a two year fixed term contract on a full time basis.

- THE ROLE -
We are looking for a full-time administrator to work with us on a high-profile education project, funded by Welsh Government and led by the University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) and the University of Glasgow.
Camau i’r Dyfodol (Steps into the Future) is an ambitious and wide-ranging project designed to support practitioners at all levels in the Welsh education system to develop a common understanding of learning progression. This is a key area of focus for professional learning research and dialogue in the context of the realisation of Curriculum for Wales.

The University of Wales Trinity Saint David (UWTSD) and the University of Glasgow will be jointly responsible for the project and it will build on the learning of an earlier Camau project in this field completed by the two universities in 2019.
The post is for an initial period of two years but may be extended.

-ABOUT YOU -

To be considered as a Senior Administrative Assistant, you will need:

  • Good level of general education
  • Educated to HND or degree level
  • Previous experience in providing high quality administrative support
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels and through all media
  • Ability to demonstrate effective organisational skills, including the ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Ability to apply attention to detail
  • Experience of working with complex governance and stakeholder structures
  • A good proficiency in the use of Microsoft and other software packages.

The ability to communicate fluently (spoken and written) through the medium of Welsh to a high standard would be beneficial to your application.
