Job Overview

PSYPER is looking to recruit a highly motivated Band 3 Senior Administrator. They will be based within the Early Intervention Service at Townend Court and will be required to deal with enquiries from service users, staff and other agencies. They will be expected to support the two team Consultant Psychiatrists and the two Senior Clinical and Operational staff and work closely with the Band 2 administration team.

The Senior Administrative role will be vital in ensuring the smooth running of this service. It will include booking appointments, supporting the clinical team, inputting data, diary management, preparing and attending meetings for minute taking purposes, inputting (Lorenzo), audio typing (typing of reports and letters), supervision of staff and any other administrative duties and other general office duties.

Main duties of the job
  • Answering phone calls and taking and passing of messages to relevant clinicians.
  • Preparing and editing letters and emails
  • Maintaining the storage of files/folders on servers
  • Covering reception
  • Inputting on Lorenzo System
  • Adding/Closing of CPA’s, Clusters, Access Plans and referrals
  • Diary management
  • General Office Duties

Qualifications & Knowledge

Essential criteria
  • Standard Keyboard Skills RSA/OCR 11 or equivalent experience
  • To have some knowledge of office procedures, clerical /reception work

Desirable criteria
  • Advanced ECDL or RSA/111/OCR
  • NVQ2 or equivalent experiential learning

Qualifications

Essential criteria
  • GCSEs/O levels English and Maths

Experience

Essential criteria
  • Knowledge of IT systems
  • Experience of working with the general public

Desirable criteria
  • Demonstrable experience of practice and procedures relevant to the area of work
