JOB TITLE: Scrum Master - Test Platforms

LOCATION: UK - Gaydon

Salary: Competitive

The successful candidate for the above role will retain their current employer, i.e. if you are a Jaguar employee you will continue to be administered on the Jaguar grading structure with the associated terms and conditions. If you are currently on BAC or EMC terms, you will retain your current employer but will transfer to a JLR contract and the associated terms and conditions.

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master, for our centre in Gaydon to join our software teams. You will be part of an energetic high performing Agile organisation, who operate effectively within a complex and innovative stakeholder landscape.

In your role as Scrum Master, you will be exposed to vehicle engineering data projects where we are evolving the automotive technology of the future. You will be expected to work within an agile team of highly capable developers who are currently working on a data analytics platform within the business.

You must have a strong working knowledge of Agile development methodologies, as well as a strong understanding of software development and the software development lifecycle. Any experience in working with data would also be advantageous.

Key Accountabilitiesand Responsibilities

This role will provide you with the opportunity to significantly influence your team’s direction, including:

• Educating and coaching Agile best practices
• Supporting teams in removing impediments
• Enabling teams to deliver business objectives
• Ensures the voice of your teams are heard and understood
• Generate and share reports on team performance, objectives and forecasts
• Manage external product dependencies
• Mentor and support other scrum masters
  
  

What You’ll Need

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

The role will fit you best if you have an experienced technical analyst background, including:

• 5+ years Scrum Master Experience
• Significant experience working in a technical environment with cross functional teams
• Significant experience of facilitating all scrum ceremonies impeccably while adapting them to meet organisational and team needs appropriately
• Experience in mentoring others
• Ability to communicate with individuals from both technical and non-technical backgrounds and present content in a meaningful, clear, and concise way
• Ability to coach teams to be self-organising and consistent velocity
• Experienced with Agile Frameworks - (SCRUM, Kanban, SAFE…) and Agile planning tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Agile practitioner certification an advantage (PSM, CSM, etc.)
• Understanding of Software Development processes and continuous delivery
