WHAT WE DO

Our Executive Recruitment team is focused on delivering all leadership recruiting activities within Jaguar Land Rover in the UK and globally. We play a critical role in enabling the business to make effective decisions around attracting, developing and retaining senior talent, with a real focus on building more diversity at all leadership levels.

The Research Associate is a newly created role responsible for helping the team identify and engage leadership talent through sourcing, candidate generation, market insights and talent mapping.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver high quality research in a fast paced and highly dynamic environment, serving as the research lead on executive search and talent mapping/pipelining projects
  • Partner with Executive Recruiters on executive searches to craft effective sourcing strategies to identify engage and attract leadership talent, assessing (through desk-research and/or direct approach) potential candidates’ suitability for the role against the position specification
  • Develop and share understanding of the market and competitive landscape, through the provision of competitive insights, business intelligence and organisational charts to the team as well as the broader HR team and business
  • Serve as our knowledge management and CRM database subject matter expert; driving best practices (including data integrity and GDPR compliance); and championing the importance and value of data capture and quality in project deliverables and in the CRM; ensuring information is accurate, up-to-date and can be leveraged for analysis and reporting

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

  • Experience likely gained with an executive search firm, in-house corporate recruitment function or research/market insights firm
  • Experience of multiple sourcing channels, including database mining, Boolean search techniques, LinkedIn Recruiter, social media platforms, referral generation, etc.
  • Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems, CRMs and/or other similar databases/data tools
  • High customer orientation with experience of managing multiple projects involving senior candidates, customers/clients, and stakeholders
  • Ability to think and act with a broad cultural and diverse perspective
  • Performance orientated, goal-driven, proactive approach to work
  • Low-ego approach, with a positive and upbeat style
  • Attention to detail and organisation, with the ability to work collaboratively as well as independently (with minimal direction), prioritise, and meet timelines
  • Ability to communicate and present in a clear and compelling manner – balancing intuition with logic and data – and define and share point of view
  • High level of resilience in dealing with ambiguous or fast-paced, evolving situations, as well as setbacks and challenges
