As our new Regulatory-Toxicologist you will support a range of challenging regulatory and technical projects for our Lamberts Health Care food supplement business .
In this role you will:
Independently design, execute, and interpret preclinical and clinical safety data to ensure consumer safety of regional and/or globally marketed Health Care products, as well as safety-related product claims.

Human health hazard and consumer safety risk assess predominantly within the context of UK and EU food regulation.

Lead the safety input into an integration of the Lamberts portfolio into the broader P&G portfolio. Driving clarity on full disclosure of raw materials and driving harmonization on safety labeling across PHC for VMS and botanical products.

Partner with Consumer Relations, External Relations, Legal, Medical & Technical Affairs (M&TA) and GSSA functions in communicating safety related information to consumers and medical professionals who contact P&G.

Ensure full compliance with national regulations, Company standards, internal requirements and SOPs of all marketed products. As well as, compliance and up to date records in all internal systems.

Provide regulatory guidance on advice in terms of product specific support, artwork review, claims support, compliance in accordance with local UK and EU food regulations, and external representation.

Cooperate with the marketing, supply chain and sales force in preparation of new launches and any new initiative of the portfolio under your responsibility.

Coordinate and implement change control processes and continuously track our go to market activities.

Optimize internal work processes and structures by cooperating with P&G departments and external partners.

Coordinate regulatory projects with the respective internal stakeholders and support regulatory strategies.

Prepare and participate in scientific consultations with regulatory authorities and industry associations.

Qualifications
What we look for:

  • Degree in natural sciences or comparable academic background; Toxicology background is preferred; Master of Drug Regulatory Affairs or PhD in Toxicology or associated life science is a plus.
  • Detailed knowledge of toxicology; qualifications such as ERT or DABT are desirable but not essential.
  • Initial experience and demonstrated interest in regulatory affairs topics in food regulation.
  • Creative mindset and innovative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills, flexibility and perseverance.
  • Professional user skills of standard software business applications.
  • Computer literacy (MS Office and experience in database management).
  • You enjoy working both independently or as part of a team.
  • While you will focus on UK regulations, the safety principles applied at P&G are global and you will also be part of a global team which conducts safety assessments to a global standard.
