Global Marketing Manager- Long Acting Market Transformation – ViiV Healthcare

Location: UK, GSK House

Job Purpose

ViiV have a bold ambition to end the HIV epidemic and believe that new long-acting therapies can transcend perceptions of therapies today to transform the market. Whilst ‘brand building’ will grow market share of our medicines today, the Long acting (LA) market transformation team will look to accelerate a more receptive external environment, one that recognizes and values the broader benefits of LA treatment and PrEP to support our future pipeline.

This business-critical and exciting role will give you the opportunity to support delivery of the vision and initiatives for ViiV that will grow the long-acting market for HIV medicines, positioning us for sustained global long-acting leadership.

In this role you will

  • Play a role in defining strategic initiatives to the transform the HIV market and drive innovation.
  • Develop assets and initiatives for key stakeholder groups including HCPs, people living with HIV and people who can benefit from PrEP aligned to the LA Market Transformation strategy
  • Partner with the creative agency to brief, develop, and refine tactics aligned to business plan and meeting regional needs for optimized customer engagements
  • Collaborate with broad stakeholders across Global, Regional, Medical, Market Access, Corporate Affairs and lead certain cross functional projects
  • Determine appropriate metrics and key performance indicators to track and monitor the effectiveness of activities and make data-driven decisions to optimise
  • Contribute towards a culture of accountability, ambition for patients and trust to do the right thing while pursing innovation

Basic Qualifications & Skills:

We are looking for professionals with these required skills to achieve our goals:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Life sciences, Business, or Marketing
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry or other relevant experience
  • Works creatively and independently, with the passion and energy to drive what is needed
  • Comfortable working through ambiguity and complexity in a fast-moving and exciting environment
  • Strong commercial acumen with excellent communication and influencing skills
  • Familiarity with ABPI code/ABPI commercial signatory

Preferred Qualifications & Skills:

Please note the following skills are not necessary, just preferred, if you do not have them, please still apply:

  • Experience in HIV or other specialty therapy area
  • Breadth of marketing experience across LOC, regional and/or global including digital marketing
  • Proven track record in leading high complexity projects to successful outcomes in a matrix environment
  • Ability to identify emerging trends, and areas that benefit from change and innovation, including ideas that challenge the status quo.
