Description

Reporting to the Quality and Continuous Improvement Manager, the role sits within the Quality and Continuous Improvement team. With an opportunity to add value and deliver results from day one, the focus of the role will be on supporting the implementation, maintenance and improvement of the company’s quality management system

What You Will Do In Your Role
  • Work with the sales and operations teams to understand and deliver the expected quality performance for customers
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve quality performance, and drive projects to achieve these improvements
  • Coordinate an efficient and effective claims handling process
  • Work with the production and process teams to ensure delivery of prompt and appropriate root cause analysis and corrective actions and act as a gatekeeper ensuring a high standard of customer claim response
  • Own the internal quality audit process and the local supplier quality process
  • Be the plant subject matter expert for quality tools, standards and software. Provide training for quality tools and processes

Requirements
  • Experience in a production/manufacturing environment
  • Evidence of strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to drive and effectively deliver change, creating sustainable results
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing and relationship building skills at all organisational levels
  • Excellent coaching and facilitation skills with the ability to communicate complex information clearly, to varied audiences
  • Confident in the use of IT packages
What Will Put You Ahead
  • A background in glass manufacturing/processing is desirable
  • Experience using Root Cause Analysis tools
  • Familiarity with ISO 9001
