DescriptionAre you a QA Analyst looking for your next role?Here at Swan Retail, we are looking to grow our QA team, and have an exciting role to work on our Swan Furniture Retail System (FRS). Working in an Agile environment and supported by the Senior QA Analyst you will be testing our core .net product.As QA Analyst you will be responsible for the core activities of the test effort during the software development cycle working closely with the Product Manager, and you will be part of a well-established development team providing high quality software to the Furniture Retail industry.This role will involve setting up manual, and automated testing.You will be a team player who is able to work effectively with others but is also able to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently. The role is hybrid and ideally, we are looking for someone who can occasionally attend our office in Waterlooville, Hampshire.BenefitsWe offer a competitive benefits package which includes life assurance, private medical cover, income protection, company pension and 25 days annual leave, as well as additional flexible benefits and hybrid-working to suit your lifestyle and enhance your well-being.Key Responsibilities:Reporting to the Senior QA Analyst the responsibilities will include:- Carry out Manual / functional testing by writing and performing test plans
- Assisting the Senior QA on the development and implementation of test strategies with detailed traceability for functional and non-functional requirements
- Develop and maintain an in-depth knowledge of core systems and processes and how these systems and processes interact for end-to-end testing
- Follow standards and procedures to determine product quality and release readiness (e.g., quality gate)
- Assisting with the documentation of process and procedures
- Executing test scripts and reviewing and reporting on results
- Querying databases
- Working closely with Senior QA Analyst, Developers, and the Product Manager
- Keeping up to date with best practice and bringing new best practice guidance to the team
- Research new tools and technologies and testing process – such as automated testing
- Minimum of 2 years commercial testing experience required
- Testing qualification (Desirable)
- Knowledge of Confluence and Jira
- Knowledge of Zephyr or another similar tool
- Experience with working in an Agile environment
- Experience of using API test tools such as Postman
- Knowledge of Automated Testing/Tools (not essential)
- EPOS/Retail systems experience (Desirable but not essential)
- Highly Organised
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent IT skills
