What it’s like to work here

Your contractual location will be one of our regional hubs, however there will be an opportunity to explore and agree remote working arrangements which strike the right balance for you and the Trust. The role will involve occasional travel to meet stakeholders, project managers and the wider teams and you can expect to spend on average 2-3 nights away from home per month.

Our head office is based in Heelis, Swindon, which houses approximately 700 staff from across the Trust’s directorates, including the Executive team and the Director General. The building was designed to be highly sustainable and has won a number of nationally-recognised awards; the open-plan offices and friendly social spaces help us to foster a truly collaborative working environment.

What you’ll be doing This role provides programme coordination for the Trust’s work on Climate Action strategy. You will be a key link between programme workstreams and the board and will provide key support and insight in to our strategy formation, resource alignment, delivery metrics and reporting.

You will work with our network of job families across the Trust who co-deliver our climate action strategy, identifying where programme support is most required. This role will report to the Programming & Planning Manager for the Directorate and will have overlap with other important Trust programmes, including Everyone Welcome and within Land Management.
