Shift:4 on 4 off
Hourly Pay:£9.41 – Paid weekly!
Hours:06:00 – 18:00

We provide a bus service for our Bakkavor family, which operates daily 7 days a week! The bus will be £2 per each single journey and the locations are;
  • Swindon Bus Station
  • Gladstone Street – Swindon
  • Regent Circus - Swindon

Production Operative

Bakkavor Desserts is based in Devizes, Wiltshire and specialises in making chilled desserts such as tarts, yum yums, doughnuts, pies and pastries.

The role

The production team is vital to our business. Not everything can be done by machinery and that’s where YOU come in! As our business’ key selling point is handcrafted products it is essential that we have hard working committed people working within our team.

The typical day of a Production Operative involves working in a small team to all achieve a common goal working closely with the Key Operative and Quality Control to achieve the best we can and supply the customer with what the standard of product they require.

We manufacture lots of different products within the business; we make over a diverse range of products so there is lots of variety.

Tasks can vary within the business such as In feeding and topping a product, feeding the product through a flow wrapper and disposing of waste all using a clean as you go process.

There is a real chance of progression within the business for a self-driven individual or for the people not so ambitious it provides a base and job security for people happy to stay on the line.
