The YNAP team are now seeking a talented Product Manager for Payments to join the team based in our offices in London Tech Hub. Reporting into the Lead Product Manager, you will be tasked with inputs to the payments roadmap for our website & working together with a team of highly motivated Product managers supported by Product Design and Software Development teams. This domain will cover Payment methods including alternatives such as Pay later features, Financing, Fraud, Compliance & Bank acquirers.
The role will be working within a cross-functional team allowing you to drive change within the platform, treasury as well as part of our customer checkout journeys across all our branded websites. You will also work closely to support change in our Apps team. All of this will be done against KPIs that you set and manage, using a test and learn approach to enable a data driven development approach.

You Will:
  • Define the scope, set the roadmap and KPI’s for the product area Payments
  • Working agile, leading a cross-functional team including engineers, testers & delivery managers
  • Own the end-to-end product requirements and communicate across different product teams
  • Understanding the vision and overall plan of YNAP and build up the strategy for the Payments Area
  • Create and manage the roadmap for your team working with your peers to manage dependencies and risks across product domains
  • Create user stories and own the product backlog & ensure we are always building value
  • Be responsible for inputs towards the AB testing roadmap for Payments
  • Collaborate with all stakeholders on launches with a focus on business readiness
  • Effectively communicate with both technical and business stakeholders adapting your style to best engage your audience
  • Understand, and problem solve, key customer and business issues, rigorously testing various solutions and approaches to find the best approach
  • Work closely with UX teams and commercial teams to gain insights on our customers and competitors
  • Bring ideas to the organisation of where value can be provided around Payments & turn these into deliverables

You Have:
  • Experience in working with engineers and cross-functional teams
  • Experience in Payments area ideally within an eCommerce environment & a good understanding of card and credit card worlds.
  • Proven experience in successfully delivering measurable business value through software or initiatives you have defined – essential
  • Experience in reading and interpreting analytics and other data points - essential
  • Expertise in Lean and Agile practices, you encourage and facilitate agile working practices with business stakeholder teams – essential
  • Experience in enabling cross functional teams to deliver to tight deadlines - essential
  • Experience in writing clear and succinct user stories that have led to successful delivery – essential
  • Experience in completing business analysis to contextualise user stories – essential
  • Solid understanding of customer touch points and key market compliance regulations and how they impact on your product – essential
  • Excellent presentation skills - captures people’s attention, confident, shows leadership qualities in communication style with a clear ability to influence large groups of people
  • Understanding of how to work with a Product design team to collaborate on the best customer experience – essential
  • A can-do attitude with a drive and passion for delivering great customer solutions working – essential
  • You have a strong understanding of user needs
  • You have strong decision-making skills
