Your role
Are you gifted at assessing Pharma company strategies? Are you comfortable researching EU midcap pharma/Life Sciences names and diving into pipeline projects? We’re looking for someone like that who can:

  • Conduct financial statement analysis, build and maintain financial models to evaluate historical information and generate forecasts
  • Write research reports on listed Pharma companies with Buy/Neutral/Sell recommendations, analysing factors such as business development, trends, opportunities and valuation
  • Individual stock coverage will be a near term priority in the role with the level and speed of coverage depending upon experience and talent
  • Remain current on market themes to help frame investment views and strategies
  • Pitch investment ideas to team, and internal/external clients
  • Ability to draw on new sources of data and analysis to drive research output

Your team
The firm’s proprietary UBS Evidence Lab analyses add significant value to our investment recommendation process. You will be working in London Pharma team. The team is highly ranked and prides itself on producing differentiated, proactive industry and stock-specific research.

Your expertise

  • Relevant work experience and/or academic background in the Pharma space
  • A self-starter with the potential for either immediate stock coverage
  • Financial modelling skills, strong knowledge of Excel or other data analysis tools
  • Strong communication skills, including the ability to explain complex topics in a simple manner – both in person and on paper
  • Ability to push projects through to completion and hit deadlines
  • Interest in Pharma, stock markets and valuation
  • European language skills are a plus
