The role:

We are a progressive firm of accountants, providing high quality, proactive accounting, tax and business services. We are looking for a full time Payroll Administrator to run and manage the payroll requirements for our business clients.

Key responsibilities

Processing payroll and CIS returns for clients on a weekly or monthly basis using industry leading software

Providing payslips and payroll reports and advising clients of PAYE / NIC liabilities

Dealing with client enquiries

Supporting our team with bookkeeping and analysis of client records

Assisting with general administrative tasks

The person

An understanding of payroll and PAYE is desirable although not essential as training and support will be provided to the right candidate. You should be keen to learn and develop

Good communication and organisational skills, with the ability to multitask

A great attention to detail, high level of accuracy, confidentiality and discretion.

Experience in Microsoft office, especially Outlook, Excel and Word
