Would suit someone who is AAT qualified or Qualified by Experience
This is a part time position (24 hours PW across 3 days) with some home working.

My client is a successful retail business based in Derby.

You will be reporting into the Financial Controller. Your duties will include, but will not be limited to:

Preparing the draft management accounts
Assisting with month end closure
KPI reporting
Reconciling the nominal ledger
Assisting with payment runs
Assisting the wider finance team with sales ledger, purchase ledger and banking
Supporting the Financial Controller with business planning and budgeting, cost analysis and overhead forecast reports
Supporting with year end audit
Preparing VAT returns, EC sales reports
Training and supporting the wider finance team

To be considered, you must:

be AAT Qualified, or Qualified by Experience, or have partly completed but stopped studying CIMA or ACCA
have a proven track record of working in finance
will have experience of working in management and financial accounts
