Contract Type:Permanent
Shift patterns: 6 week rotating pattern Sun-Thurs x 3 , Mon-Fri x 3 0600 AM shift.
Location: Wellingborough - NN8 6XA

DHL, an award-winning leading supply chain business is seeking an experienced Warehouse Operative to play a vital role coordinating our daily warehouse and distribution requirements.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will:

Undertake the manual handling, distribution and monitoring of materials in a bulk storage and warehouse environment.

Assist with the loading and unloading of vehicles , Picking orders for Despatch with very heavy lifting involved .

WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU?

  • Previous practical experience as a Warehouse Operative, within a logistics environment or similar role and be familiar with all Manual Handling Procedures Desirable
  • Previous experience of using MHE Desirable
  • Previous experience of the preparation and distribution of volume orders
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload

A recognised qualification in Manual Handling or equivalent will be well-received.
