Within our Business Finance Function, we employ about 30 people and are proud of our turnover and profitability. We are also proud of our employees and recognise the need to invest in our workforce, with people being our most important asset. Due to an internal project, we are looking to recruit a new Part Qualified Management Accountant.

So, what’s the job about?

Included within the Business Finance Function we have a team of 11 who work within Management Accounts. You will be supporting specifically within our Emerging Business’ as they continue to successfully expand. Ensuring the accounts remain timely and accurate you will support the Team Leader with the preparation of monthly management accounts to GAAP. You will also be responsible for accruals & prepayments, maintaining the leasing system, budgeting, standard costing, calculating stock & production volumes, and producing reports on a regular basis. Working across the breadth of our diverse manufacturing company you will have the opportunity to work alongside a whole host of different departments. This will require some great communication skills and a passion to be a part of a proud and ambitious workforce.

What skills are required?

Similar experience in a finance team is essential

Previous experience within a Manufacturing Company would be great but is not essential

Part Qualified CIMA or ACCA would be ideal

Highly effective numerically and analytically with sound Excel skills

Excellent communication skills

Logical thinker with good attention to detail and a high level of commitment

Can work under pressure and meet deadlines

A great ability to build rapport with a positiveand upbeat approach

A proactiveapproach to problem-solving, taking full end to end ownership, and always using your initiative

In addition,Knowledge of AX Dynamics or similar is a bonus!

Due to the COVID - 19 pandemic the majority of our colleagues are working remotely from home. Currently, we would ask you to do the same and provide you with the necessary IT equipment. You will be fully supported with regular contact and training to carry out the mission. When the time is right, you are welcome to use our site in Elland, West Yorkshire, as your location base, and whilst we can consider the possibility of you working remotely from home on a regular basis, you will need to be within a commutable distance to travel to the office in Elland.

What next? We are looking for someone special to join us on this contract, ideally, before the end of July 2021. Interviews will take place in June and early July.
