An exciting opportunity has emerged for a Paraplanner to join a vibrant team in a busy Practice located in Oakham. Representing a family-run Wealth Management business, we are seeking a dedicated individual to fulfil this pivotal role within our client’s organization.

The Paraplanner plays a crucial role in the business, requiring drive, initiative, and exceptional problem-solving skills. The ideal candidate will share our commitment to advancing the business and possess strong communication abilities to interact effectively with clients, advisers, and third-party providers.

Role Responsibilities

  • Collating client information and preparing suitability letters
  • Generating illustrations and reports for client meetings
  • Managing cases through to completion using internal processing systems
  • Ensuring compliant and timely processing of obtained business
  • Daily liaison with colleagues and third parties
  • Providing technical advice to advisers
  • Utilizing goal-based financial planning cash flow modelling systems
  • The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training on relevant IT systems to support them in this role.

Candidate Profile

  • We are seeking a confident, numerate, and IT-proficient Paraplanner with a proactive "can-do" approach. The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Experience working within an IFA or Wealth Management environment as a Paraplanner, with at least Level 4 Dip PFS qualification
  • Progression towards or attainment of Chartered status is advantageous
  • Proficiency in IHT, Pension, and Investment products
  • Exceptional organizational and communication skills
  • Confidence in client and third-party interactions, with a commitment to discretion
