A highly successful, award winning IFA firm who provide comprehensive financial planning and investment advice, are seeking a Junior Paraplanner for their Cornwall office.

37.5 hours /5 days a week, flexible working is available including a combination of home and office working. Also including numerous benefits such as an annual discretionary bonus, 25 days holidays, Pension Contributions, Life Insurance and Death in Service 3x after probation.

A very social team, you will be working closely with Financial Advisers and IFA Administrators, to support the client advisory process, playing a key role in providing an all-important, quality sales support function through effective use of software, as well as following set processes and procedures.

Duties

Review fact finds, file notes, client risk profile questionnaires etc. as provided by the Financial Advisers to gain an understanding of the client requirements discussed and agreed.

Undertake quotes using relevant in-house platforms or request quotes from external providers.

Undertake The Necessary Research And Analysis, Including
  • Fund, Model, DFM and Platform analysis
  • Product comparison
  • Product analysis
  • Fund, Model, DFM and Platform research
  • Charges analysis
    Compile suitability reports detailing the recommended advice to suit the client’s needs, uploading the report into the system for the Financial Adviser to pick up remotely.

    Discuss the reports with the Financial Adviser, amending as necessary.

    Instruct the IFA Administrator to proceed with preparation of the pack for the client .

    Considerations

    You are required to have demonstrable knowledge and experience of Paraplanning,

    Advantageous to have knowledge with Intelligent Office (I.O.) FE Analytics, Cashflow Modelling, Wrap comparators, etc, and it is preferable to be working towards your Diploma.

    Experience of, or understanding and a willingness to work with, a centralised investment proposition is essential.
