We are currently recruiting for an Office Administrator to join a well-established company in the Insurance sector to be based in the Scarborough area. Some of the responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

  • Plan and manage own workload daily to effectively complete all the required tasks.
  • Be the first point of contact for clients both face to face and over the phone. Dealing with them in a confident, professional manner.
  • Establish quickly what clients need and who is best placed to help them and redirect them appropriately.
  • Provide administration support to the company in the form of emails, reports, general filing etc. Once shown a task you will be able to work independently to complete it.
  • Provide administration, support matters, social events, communications as required
  • Prepare reports on a daily and monthly basis with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Be aware of and implement control of customer data daily to ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Support the office as needed to maintain required levels of customer service within authority limits and to contribute to the effective and efficient running of the office.
  • Maintain record keeping requirements for your role in accordance with company standards.
  • Produce correspondence to required time-frames and quality standards
  • Maintain office standards of cleanliness day to day

The working hours would be Mon-Fri 9.00-5.00pm, the salary for this role is up to £17,550 dependent on age and experience.
