A leading specialist engineering business is looking to recruit an interim experienced HR Business Partner for an immediate start. This will be for a 3-6 month contract.
The role will support the continued development of their high-performing HR team with a focus on partnering their Engineering Design Practice.
Based from home, the successful candidate would be expected to travel a couple of days a week to the York office.
This position would suit an individual who is a passionate HR professional with natural stakeholder relationship management skills that enjoys a fast-paced environment. The HR Business Partner is the trusted adviser to their assigned business area with a core focus on providing strategic and tactical HR support across the full range of the employee and HR cycle.
Experience Required: CIPD qualified (or equivalent qualification) and ongoing professional development. Comprehensive and up-to-date knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice. Previous experience of operating as a HR generalist in a commercial HR function (ideally from within an engineering / construction / manufacturing business). An ability to build productive and collaborative relationships at all levels and positively challenge and influence where appropriate.
