Eden Brown have an excellent opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to join a private company in Leicester on a part time basis.As an Occupational Therapist on the team you will be supporting the Products Sales Team and Clinical Service Team in the Product Sales Division of the company - day to day work and growth and development of the service.Some Of Your Main Duties And Responsibilities
  • The role will involve using your OT skills and knowledge to assess the needs of individuals.
  • Offering advice and recommendations to Product Sales Customers and supporting the OTA product advice team with information and training needs.
  • The role also involves adding content and supporting the content for the Healthcarepro and Complete Care Shop websites as well as involvement in training of staff.
  • You will be working across product management, product development, purchasing, digital and marketing teams to support the Product Sales Division.
  • Carry out occupational therapy assessment as offered to retail customers and recommending product that are needed to promote independence in the home.
Requirements Of The Occupational Therapist
  • Degree in Occupational Therapy
  • HCPC Registered
  • Understanding the needs of people with disabilities or the elderly
  • Experience of working within a health and/or social care setting
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective organisation and time management skills
If successful there will be a 3-4 week training period in the office at Bardon, then working from home, coming into the office about once a month, this may be subject to change but the client can be flexible.We are looking for a part time Occupational Therapist for 18.5 hours a week.Eden Brown Synergy is an equal opportunities employer.
