An exciting opportunity has arisen to work for East Riding Council .This is a temporary Children’s Social Worker role within the Front Door Team. In this role you will benefit from a competitive hourly rate whilst having the opportunity to work in a professional and vibrant environment.

Within this role you will responsible for taking details from members of the public and professionals via telephone gathering accurate information from databases, seeking consent from families for further checks and completing these checks. You will then analyse the data received and make further recommendations to outside local agencies. You are required to represent the Front Door Team at meetings with other agencies and assist with presentations regarding the referral process.

For this position you will need hold a recognised social work qualification and be Social Work registered. Furthermore, you will have at least 2 years post qualifying experience in statutory childcare setting to support your ability for this role.
