What To Expect

Virtual Series is Jaguar Land Rovers development framework for the backbone of Digital Engineering at JLR.

It’s the framework in which all of our fantastic products are created, providing strength and support, and enabling our vision to become a reality.

As a Digital Transformation Engineer/Analyst, you will have the opportunity to coordinate the transformation of the tools and processes we use to run our Virtual Series Operations at JLR.

This role can equally progress as technical specialists (individual contributors) and as people managers, depending on skills and experience.

Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities

Day to day, you will guide transformation or process improvement activities in one of the following areas:

Improve the governance and structure of JLRs CAE community, act as the voice of the customer working with our Digital Engineering Capability team to improve and develop new capabilities, define our virtual capability across all physics.

Virtual Design Verification, specifically around integrated virtual to physical test plans, understanding requirements and test cases to develop the end-to-end full virtual validation plan.

Improving our Engineering Data Quality, including both Geometrical (CAD) and Non-Geometrical data to ensure it is fit for consumption.

What You’ll Do

Desirable (but not essential):
  • Previous experience of one of the following: Computer Aided Design (CAD), conducting Computer Aided Engineering (CAE), Requirement Authoring, Test Execution, Test Authoring, Test planning,
  • Familiarity with Atlassian and or Dassault Systems 3DExperience
  • Developer experience with a data visualisation tools like Tableau
