Our vision is to leverage the incredible potential of technology to build vehicles that not only offer a premium, all-encompassing digital experience, but that also make our customers lives better.What To ExpectThe purpose of this role is to work alongside the lead engineer to deliver world class software into the overall modulation system through coordination of the design, development, testing and introduction of software and functionality (software is sourced from the first-tier supplier) for a complete Jaguar Land Rover platform.Operating in a cross-functional organisation, this role will report directly into the Technical Group Leader whilst working under the direction of the lead engineer. The role requires the individual to support the technical delivery with the tier 1 supplier and multiple internal stakeholders and customers, and to support the development and delivery of the commodity plan to ensure delivery to required quality, cost and time.Key Accountabilities And Responsibilities- Support delivery of the Brake Control Software Integration plan to quality, cost and time.
- Support delivery of the Software Engineering Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) deliverables
- Facilitate Change Request, expenditure forecasting and the relevant supplier teams in support of delivery of the programme milestones
- Work closely with the Lead Engineer and supplier to deliver software to support Jaguar Land Rover build events from through to J#1 +90days
- Keep all Module documentation up to date including:
- Meeting minutes
- Integration point plans
- SW Release documentation
- Willingness to learn and develop deep understanding of modern day ABS/modulation systems
- Experience of planning, co-ordination, delivery and reporting of requirements to support the Cycle Plan programmes using Product Creation Delivery System (PCDS)
- Degree or relevant equivalent experience preferred
- Experience of working with mechatronic systems such as ABS, PAS or active suspension
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with strong influencing and engagement skills
