Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join a family run business based in Stafford, who have been trading for over 60 years. This company have become a leading provider of catering in Stafford and surrounding areas. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented and motivated individual to join the company as a Marketing and Communications officer. The successful candidate will be highly organised, responsible, able to multitask extensively, and detail oriented.

This position is open for a part time or full time position depending on the candidate. Hybrid work can be available once trained in the position.

Duties and responsibilities
This is an exciting new role as the company are looking to grow their Marketing and Communications team. They are looking for a talented writer with excellent communication and organisational skills to join the team. As Marketing, and Communications officer you will help to raise the profile of the company and share their news and stories.

  • Relationship with venues (working with them, aligning campaigns, and showing venue owners that we are top of our game and on trend)
  • Menu development through PR (working with the head chef on promoting new dishes internally and externally)
  • Improving the customer journey (working on the customer portal from ease of use for the customer, presentation, engagement, and communication)
  • Implementing social media strategy (implement social media strategy and calendar to communicate our brand, values, vision, upsells, trends and recruitment)
  • Improve Internal and external communications (review current communications processes. Implement communications calendar)
  • Creating campaigns which involves all of the above to increase profit (new dishes, drinks, general upsells, slicker processes and communication)

Skills and experience

  • Microsoft efficient
  • Communication skills
  • Experience in Marketing is preferred but not essential

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £10.42 per hour
