An opportunity within Corporate Finance Advisory & Transactions at a leading National Advisory Firm offering exposure to a wide range of projects and transactions and clear long-term career progression.

THE COMPANY

This leading national Corporate Advisory Practice has offices in all major UK cities and a particularly strong presence in Manchester and the North West region. Renowned as the leading advisor to SME and Mid-market Corporates, the firm provides a broad range of Advisory solutions including Turnaround & Restructuring, Forensic Accounting, Debt Advisory and Corporate Finance / M&A.

THE OPPORTUNITY

A new opportunity has arisen within the firm’s Corporate Finance Advisory Team which would ideally suit an ACA / ACCA Qualified Accountant who has 2 - 3 years previous experience in Restructuring & Advisory, Transaction Services (FDD) or M&A / Lead Advisory work. The opportunity offers exposure to a wide range of projects and transactions involving lower mid-market Private Equity Investors, Banks and distressed SME businesses.

As a Manager your responsibilities will involve:

  • Preparation of transaction documentation - Information Memorandums, business, plans, financial forecasts / projections and financial models
  • Financial Due Diligence projects involving lower mid-market Private Equity Investors and Banks
  • Bank review work (Independent Business Review) involving SME’s seeking financ
  • Providing support to Associate Director / Director in meetings with clients and fundeers, Lead Advisory negotiations and SPA, Heads of Terms and completions

THE PERSON

You will be an ambitious Advisory professional able to demonstrate the following:

  • ACA / ACCA Qualified
  • Background within Top Tier Chartered Accountancy or Independent Advisory Practice
  • Previous experience within Transaction Services (FDD) or M&A / Lead Advisory
  • A strong desire to develop your career within M&A / Corporate Finance at a leading mid-market specialist
