**Personal Assistant**

  • Hours ** 8 – 16 hours per week
  • Location ** Marske
  • Rates of pay** £8.91 per hour

    • Personal Assistant required for an elderly gentleman, who enjoys maintaining regular contact with his family.

    The role is to support a man Parkinson’s Dementia, and spinal injury which have a significant impact upon his life.

    Your role will be to assist and support him with maintaining his personal hygiene and care and respecting his dignity while helping him to remain as independent as possible.

    You will also support him with his daily routine, this will be including dressing, turning, and hoisting along with support from a second PA

    Combined with supporting him with activities of daily living such as helping and prompting her with meals and drinks.

    We are ideally looking for someone with experience of working with individual with Parkinson’s - Dementia, and spinal injury and has experience of manual handling of people alongside having a patience and positive outlook.

    You will be required to work as part of a care team working alongside another Personal Assistant, hours to be discussed at interview.

    You should be enthusiastic, confident, and be able to work as part of a wider team and independently. Please refer to job description for more information on the role.
